i’ve tried so many “whitening” toothpastes, but none of them seem to work. my parent’s won’t let me use actual teeth whitening strips or the kits.. so are there any toothpastes that effectivley whiten you teeth? (that you can buy at a drugstore, not like a tube kind)

I’m very skeptical about "free" products if you pay the shipping?

I’ve been noticing advertisements for free weight-loss (acai berry and colon cleanse, etc.) and even teeth whitening products. Free. All you have to do is pay the minimal shipping charge. Why am I skeptical? Why oh why would they care to get your .99 or whatever shipping charge if they are giving away the product. There has to be a gimmick as in they now have my bank card or credit card number and expiration date. Am I crazy? Has anyone really tried these come-ons and not been sorry? I’d love to try the weight-loss one, but just can’t believe it’s not some scam.

If you have dental implants can you whiten the rest of your teeth? or will the dental implants stand out?

My 3-year old daughter was playing eye spy when the color yellow came up. She said “daddy’s teeth!” Kids tell it like it is. I want to get some sort of teeth whitener, but I’m not sure if buying a DIY kit will really help much or if I should just go to the dentist.

For people who have tried oil pulling? Why would you swish acidic oil around your mouth to help your teeth?

I’m interested in using sesame seed oil to swill with to see if it improves and whitens my teeth/reduces cavity with a balanced died. For those who have tried or understand the science behind this could you answer me this or correct me if I’m mistaken…why would you swish acidic oils around your mouth in order to help tooth decay wouldn’t it simply cause more problems?? Don’t acids rot teeth or is oil ph neutral?

I’ve heard that teeth bleaching makes your teeth sensitive. I want to bleach my teeth but I don’t want to use some horrible product.
